Tailor Made Training
Courses can be designed to meet the needs of your organisation, we will be happy to discuss this and offer suggestions.
Example courses include:
- Paediatric continence promotion-many varied topics including toilet training, day / night time wetting, constipation & soiling, and integrated service planning and delivery
- Communication Skills training (1 hour)
- Communication Skills Workshop (full day)
- Alternative & Practical Approach to toileting difficulties (full day - can be scaled down to half day with less practical input)
- Learning Difficulties
- Role of the Occupational Therapist in Continence care
- Awareness of Continence Products - basic information and updates available
- Access to toilet facilities - a look at the regulations for the provision of accessible public and school toilets.
Costs
The cost of a course is dependent on speaker/trainer, subject matter, preparation time etc. but would typically be around the following:
- £500 - £750 per day (in house or on site training)
- £275 - £400 per half day (in house or on site training)
Refreshments are not included with the in house price. The cost of training includes use of all available resources, trainers fees, comprehensive course notes and research material.
All prices are exclusive of travel and speaker accomodation (where required).

Cancellation of Training
A full refund or an alternative date will be offered if training is cancelled by Disabled Living.
If training is cancelled by the organisation or person initially requesting the training, the fee will be incurred:
- 28 days or less - no refund
- 5 weeks - refund quarter of the fees
- 6 weeks - refund half the fees
- 7 weeks - refund three quarters of the fees
- 8 weeks - full refund
