Disability Awareness Training

Content:

A one day tailor made training course held at Disabled Living, or at an accessible venue of your choice, that will give you an overview of the Disability Discrimination Act and its implications.

It will provide you with an insight into relating to people with physical, sensory and learning disabilities.

These courses are suitable for groups of between 7-15 delegates.

Presenter:

Chris Cammiss BSc. (Hons), PGCE, who was a science and mathematics teacher for over 25 years. Following retirement he took further training in relation to Access and the DDA.

As Chris has been a wheelchair user since the age of seven, he is able to provide his delegates with an in-depth knowledge of what it is like to live with disabilities.

Target Group: Anyone wishing to improve their Disability Awareness and increase their knowledge of the DDA – particularly those who have direct contact with disabled clients.

Cost: Price on application.
