Kidz up North 2007 Press Release
On November 15th up at the Bolton FC Reebok Stadium, over 3,000 people visited ‘Kidz up North’; one of the two UK exhibitions totally dedicated to the needs and interests of disabled children. Event organisers Disabled Living are a Manchester based charity with over 110 years of experience and knowledge on disability issues.
The exhibition provides an opportunity to see new products, meet leading specialists of equipment, service suppliers and manufacturers.
Being late November we also couldn’t leave out Santa’s Grotto too. There was an inclusive football area and a Chill Zone providing free relaxing, complementary therapies. New to Kidz 2007 was the Kidz Aware Puppet Shows and story time from Kid Premiership.
The event was a massive success and Disabled Living will go into the Kidz South exhibition on Thursday 19th June 2008 at the Rivermead Leisure Complex, Richfield Avenue, Reading. For more information call 0161 214 5962.
Visitors have commented “I did have a wonderful day out. Lovely to meet with friends and catch up with reps who have supplied equipment to us already and look at new products. Great day! Congratulations on another successful event”
