Wheelchair Training

Staying safe at work is a responsibility. As such, some employees are very well versed in using a wheelchair whilst others need to get the basics right. This where our Wheelchair Training course can help.

Why should you do this training

Being confident and safe when using a wheelchair will help in gaining the trust of the people you care for. By knowing your wheelchair and being able to practically use a wheelchair, it will give you the confidence to enjoy working with your client. Seeing things for a user’s perspective will give you insight and improve your skills.

Who is the course for?

All staff who are using wheelchairs at work, community staff, volunteers.

What are the course pre-requisites?

Basic knowledge of moving and handling.

£640 plus vat for upto 8 people.
