Why should you do this course?
As a trainer you need to understand how people learn and how to construct a course which shows an understanding of the legal framework surrounding moving and handling along with the factors and principles to be considered when carrying out a manual handling risk assessment. You will learn how to demonstrate practical methods and devices be used to reduce the risks to others, whilst observing and correcting them.

What are the course prerequisites?
It is essential that you have at least 6 months of practical hands on experience of moving and handling people in the workplace.
**Please note that there is homework to be completed in order to achieve accreditation of this course**
Where will this training take place?
Online or face to face?
Whilst online training has a place we feel that this course warrants real time face to face contact with your trainer, so welcome to 4 days of intense face to face learning to gain the knowledge and confidence to perform your role as a manual handling trainer and assessor.
We have two well equipped training venues to use:

For organisations wishing to train 6 or more staff we can train at your venue (with the relevant room and equipment needed).
